The detailed travel itinerary of Hanoi-Halong bay- Ninh Binh travel package.
Day 1. Hanoi arrival & Hanoi city visit. Overnight in Hanoi (L)
Our driver & guide warmly welcome your family with your signed name : Ms/Mr……….., picking you up at the airport ( flight number……., landing at ………) to Hanoi city center.
Start your visit to some Hanoi city’s highlights :
- Tran Quoc pagoda – the oldest pagoda & the center of Buddhism in Hanoi.
- Temple of Literature– also known as the first university of Vietnam – great for your understanding of our feudal education & our Confucian culture
- Hanoi old quarter – a nice walk for your nice sense of busy & narrow ancient streets specialised in typical produces.
- Hoan Kiem lake, the beautiful lake in Hanoi city center for a leisure walk & memorable photos of Hanoi.
Then, attend a special afternoon show of water puppet – the must-see activity to entertain when making a trip to Hanoi.

Day 2. Hanoi – Halong, visit Halong bay & overnight on Halong bay cruise (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we will leave Hanoi without the guide for a journey to Halong Bay, one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites with its 2000 islands located in a background of limestone in Gulf of Tonkin. Coming to Halong bay, visitors will be impressed with the beauty of natural achievement and many wonderful types of scenery.
You will enjoy an overnight cruise on a wonderful boat floating on Halong Bay and savor a special menu of fresh seafood will absolutely bring you the best moment you have ever had.
You will be served with lunch and dinner on the boat. Overnight onboard.
Note: Meals on the boat with local/Asian food. Vegetarian good is available upon request.

Day 3. Halong bay- Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi (B,L)
After breakfast, enjoy your time to sunbathe and relax in the fascinating background of the bay. After brunch on board – around 11.30 am, transfer back to Hanoi to check in the hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4. Hanoi day tour to Ninh Binh, visit Mua cave, Hoa Lu & Tam Coc – Hanoi.Overnight in Hanoi (B,L)
8h00-8h30 A.M,our guide & driver pick you up at your hotel and transfer to Ninh Binh.After 2 hour drive,we arrive in Mua cave for a healthy exercise of hiking up steps by steps to the peak of mountain in Mua cave area.The trek is quite steep & hard on stone steps so keep your pace, conquer the mount slowly and you will be rewarded with a impressive panorama of beautiful landscapes in Tam Coc & Trang An. Chances for picturesque photoes.
Proceed to Tam Coc harbour for a scenic rowing boat trip on Ngo Dong river.You will have a pleasant journey viewing of limestone pillars & rice fields on both sides of the river, and sneaking through three natural caves of beautifully sparkling stalagtites hanging down from the ceiling.
The lunch of local Vietnamese dishes will be served in a local restaurant.
Continue our trip to Hoa Lu – the heart of Vietnam in the 10th & 11th century, paying a visit to two remain temples : King & Le Temples.The visit offers you deep understanding of Vietnam’s history under Dinh, Le & Ly dynasties and good insight of the 17th century’s architectural values reflected in those temples.
Then, our driver picks you up & transfers back to Hanoi.

Day 5. Hanoi Departure (B)
After breakfast, you are free to relax until getting transferred to the airport (without tour guide) for your departure flight. The room is at your disposal until noontime. Meals on your own. End of service.
