THE DETAILED ITINERARY OF MAI CHAU- PU LUONG- NINH BINH TOUR PACKAGE

Day 1. Hanoi – Mai Chau, trek to visit the hidden villages in Mai Chau valley .Overnight in Mai Chau (B,L)

8.00 AM.Our driver pick up at your hotel in Hanoi & depart to Mai Chau valley. Stops en route to experience exotic items sold in local markets by local tribes & captivate spectacular view of Mai Chau Valley from Thung Khe Pass – one of top things to do in Mai Chau

11.30 AM.Arrive in a scenic village in Mai Chau valley, have an authentic lunch of delicious dishes with a local family of the White Thai tribe, and some free time to interact yourself with the villagers.

In the afternoon, embark on a leisure bike through narrow village paths, see terraced rice paddies and small villages, discovering the natural beauty of the valley, chatting with locals about their lives, their daily routines as well as the old-aged customs with which the Thai hill tribe live their lives.

15h30 P.M.Drive further into Mai Chau valley, where you will have a leisure hike along mountions & rural countryside of green rice fields & scenic village.

17h30 P.M. Check -in the resort for your night in a beautiful resort surrounded by mountains & paddy fields. Overnight in Mai Chau valley.

Day 2. Mai Chau – Pu Luong – trek cross the valley to Hieu village. Homestay in Hieu village (B,L,D)

Early wake-up to enjoy peaceful life of a rural village with the rouster’s songs, fresh air & nice view of surrounding mountains.

8h30 A.M.After breakfast, we start for a 2 hour trek across the valley, getting impressive captivation of rice terraces & forested mountains, passing by different villages in Sam Khoe commune for more exploration of local life.

11h30.Have a lunch with a local family in Mai Hich village.

13h00 P.M. After lunch, our private car with driver will take you to Pu Luong nature reserve in 1.5 hour drive.

14h30 P.M. Arrive at Pu Luong, embark on a trek around Co Lung commune where you can have a good view of rice terraces, iconic waterwheels & peaceful hamlets.

Then trek up along Hieu waterfall to Hieu village on mountainside, where you will enjoy a beautiful night with a friendly local Thai

Dinner with happy water & Overnight in Hieu village.

Day 3. Pu Luong – Ninh Binh, visit Thien Ha cave & Hoa Lu ancient capital – Hanoi (B,L

You will be waked up by roosters near & far and enjoy the peaceful scenery & fresh air in this remote village.

After breakfast with locals, you will say goodbye to the poetic Ban Hieu village and do a light morning walk along the mountain to the meeting point where our car with driver is waiting you for a 3,5 hour transfer to Ninh Binh.

11h30 AM.Upon arrival in Ninh Binh, enjoy an authentic lunch of delicious local dishes such as goat meat, burned rices…..

13h00 P.M. Proceed for Hoa Lu ancient capital, the heart of Vietnam in the 10th & 11th century, to visit Dinh & Le temples, which offer you a good insight of Vietnam’s history under Dinh, Le & Ly dynasties, as well as the 17th century’s architectural values reflected in those temples

14h30 P.M. Journey to Van Long nature reserve. Start a leisure bike along the local residences, then along quiet dyke roads for your great sense of peaceful countryside with the rivers & mountainscapes.

15h30 PM. Board a 1.5 hour rowing sampan with friendly locals to admire the pristine landscape of Van Long Nature Reserve in the afternoon, the right time to view the diversity of rich fauna & flora with many birds, storks, herons, pheasants flying around.If lucky enough, we may encounter the school of Delacour’s langurs playing around in mountains.

17h00 P.M.Meet our driver & drive back to Hanoi. This 3 day package finishes at your hotel around 19h00.
